Platinum 60,000 sign up bonus if referred

I was wondering if this higher bonus is only available if you are referred from an existing AMEX Platinum card holder or any AMEX card holder?

The 60k offer seems to only be on my Platinum. My other cards only get 45k for a referral.

You should be able to see it in the app where you get the referral link, if you’ve got the Platinum card. I upgraded to it last night and can see the 60K MR points offer available for the person getting referred, and 18K MR points for me.

If you follow your referral link it shows the amount for you and amount for your friend. I have 18k for me 60k for them.
