there’s a bit of narrative in a few articles on the website for Points Booster and whether it’s a good deal… the general feeling is “not really, unless you want to do an immediate redemption”.

When there is a promo running it is a very decent deal, as long as you’re confident of being able to redeem for around 1p per mile. It’s far cheaper than any Virgin ‘buy points’ bonus they ever run.
