Premier salary or lump sum account conditions

Hi there
Does anyone know if one needs to have a salary of 75,000 GBP to be paid into the Barclays premier account to receive the 100,000 points? (or alternatively,have a lump sum of 100k parked in a Barclays account).

I managed to open a standard Barclays account and then upgrade to premier – no need for 75k salary or millions in the bank.

I spoke with Barclays about this today and I understand that as long as £3,330 per month is paid in, this qualifies for the free Premier account, although I haven’t applied yet so can’t verify this. See link below

Paul, how long have you left it to upgrade to Premier? And have you received an e-mail about the 100k Avios? I meet the monthly earning treshold but I’m a few thousand pound short of a 75k annual salary.

Did they identify if it needs to come from one person or just needs that amount paid in from a salary(ies). Would be fine individually however have hit salary sacrifice hard and still have 6 or so months remaining on student loan so fall short by a couple of hundred pounds..

Did they state if it matters if from one salary or not? I would fine individually on this basis but have hit salary sacrifice hard plus have last bit of student loan to clear (6 months to go…)
