Has there been any news on when the pro rata refunds will end for Amex platinum?
I imagine they would want to perhaps do it before January as that would stop people using the 2025 allowances and then cancelling.

Except they have split the 2025 dining credits into two. If you cancel before 30 June you will only get £100 UK + Overseas. It’s a minor step to limit the worst of the hit and run merchants.
Wonder then if we will get an update by the chap with “here’s how I cleaned out the Plat jar, what do y’all think”.

I suspect it won’t happen now, to be honest.
I called customer services to check something yesterday and asked if it was still possible to get pro-rata refunds.. the rep said yes and it will be for the foreseeable as they have not announced any internal changes.
