I’m having problems logging into my Qatar account. Get a message to reauthenticate my account (even though I combined my account successfully in the past). Followed link but doesn’t seem to work.
Anyone else having this problem?
Fixed – doesn’t work on website but link does work on app. Was able to reauthenticate ba account.
I’m having problems logging into my Qatar account as well, having successfully logged in and linked it to my BA account a few months back.
It now says Account restricted, please contact Customer Services.
That is now the subject of a Resolver complaint , as nobody seems to know or care how to fix it, never mind explain why my account was suddenly restricted in the first place ?
The only way to chat to CS is by logging into the website !! bit of a dead end there, and CS on the phone are only there for reservations, not IT issues
I’m having the same issue, i.e. seeing this error message on the Qatar Airways web page to manage my linked accounts: “Please reauthenticate your British Airways Executive Club account to update your combined balance here”. Turns out if you log into ba.com and send a few avios to your linked Qatar account then this error goes away.
Steps I took:
1. Searched and failed to find any where or an help info on the website to resolve this,
2. Installed the Qatar mobile app as a comment above suggested it may be possible to fix the issue there, alas the app won’t let me log in (“Unexpected error, please try again later” on loop for 10 mins)
3. I then contacted live chat whilst logged into the Qatar Airways web site. They suggested I contact BA to resolve this issue. As it happens I was already logging into BA.com to see if things looked Ok from that end. It all looked OK there so rather than waste time with support I tried sending 100 avios first. Bingo, all fine now.
