Newbie here, I booked a flight from LHR to MEX via AA website because I could not do it via Qatar webpage as it shows not available flights, however I noticed that in the flights I booked in AA, they are codeshared with QR. I chekced with the Qatar Airways support team on how the Qpoints were accrued, they told me it would be based on how it is determined in AA accrual method (which is 40 Qpoints) and not the supposed 80 Qpoints given I did not booked this codeshare flight in Qatar webpage.
Is this true? Thanks in advance!
It is probably only available to book as QR when in conjunction with a QR flight. So it will earn as an AA flight.
