Receiving BAEC status cards

My parents have just moved up to Silver Status last week. Are BA still sending out cards? Or is it only digital nowadays?

Digital only nowadays, certainly at Silver. The Exec Club Items menu option now allows you to download your membership card, save a copy of your card, email your card or download the app with your card – it used to give you options to order cards and luggage tags.

Physical cards and luggage tags are only available for Gold members.

I should hit gold later this year – do the cards and tags automatically come in the post as used to be the case with silver/bronze a few years back, or do you need to request? Thanks!

You need to request it. It didn’t come automatically for myself or my other half.

In your Executive Club account, under “Manage my Account”, “Executive Club Items” you can order what you desire from the drop down menu.

I’ll need to remember to order my souvenir ones next year as there is zero chance I’ll make gold again now that I have retired.
