Registering the Barclaycard app on a new device

Purchased a new phone.
Other apps from my old phone have managed to transfer and setup easily.
Unfortunately the Barclaycard app wants to go through the whole registration process, including taking a photo and a short video etc – it didn’t take any notice of the card being tapped against the back of the phone (when prompted).

Googling this suggests there should be an option to enable the app on a new device by using the app on the old phone to register the app for the new phone.
No such option seems to exist.
Given that the app still tells you to enter the card number from the *front* of your card, I suspect their website is not really up to date.

Adds to the many other issues that the Avios Barclaycard suffers from.
Am I doing it wrong?

On Android, the option is in More > Manage accounts > Generate an activation code.

It doesn’t seem particularly logical to put it in there when there’s a Manage Devices option in Settings, though.
