Dear,
We’re on a constant mission to improve the British Airways Executive Club for our Members. That’s why we’re expanding Reward Flight Saver – your way of paying a fixed Avios price, with a low cash amount.
You’ll now have access to 100% of our network with Reward Flight Saver, while being able to book World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World cabins.
That means you can book return long-haul flights in World Traveller from just £100 and 50,000 Avios, or World Traveller Plus from £280 and 85,000 Avios.
If it’s a Club World cabin you prefer, fly from as little as £350 and 160,000 Avios return.

I think this trumps Rob’s “BIG NEWS” story he’s just published.
I’m not so sure. From a quick search it just seems to be a positive spin on using more avios to contribute to the cash portion of the flight. But the value per Avios doesn’t appear very attractive on the routes I looked at (<<1p/avios).
I’ve decided, on balance, that it sucks. Under this new pricing system F return with a new 241 to BOS is 136k avios plus £1694, but if there’s no F available on the way back and you pick CW instead, it’ll be the same amount of cash but 148k avios!

Think you’re right as looking at this, we might have got one of the last better deals.
Booked LGW – Dom Rep on 5 Dec with Companion Voucher & 70,000 Avios for £300 ret.
However on that morning (and it was next day I got the new RFS email) one minute the flight was 60,000+£300 then max 42,500+£640, then the 70,000+£300 and then there were suddenly no Caribbean destinations Sept or Oct 23 for under £640 with a 241 Companion Voucher.
Anyone else experienced ever changing reward fluctuations when searching to book?
