For those that may be interested, here’s the difference in pricing for two people, Club Europe, Gatwick to Saville around next Easter, (non peak) Using the same dates and, best value, for me,of selected Avios option.

    Return, 58500 Avios + £ 148.00

    One ways,
    Out 31500 Avios + £74.00
    Back 31500 Avios + £ 65.40
    Totals 63000 Avios + £139.40

We almost always book ‘One Ways’, for the flexibility if we want to stay longer, go later, etc.etc.
nb 241’s used for long haul only.

For a moment I thought that BA started flying from Gatwick to central London.

I suppose the downside is if you need to cancel the whole trip, you have to pay 2 sets of cancellation fees.

I can’t believe I wrote Saville, too much Bombay Sapphire at their experience today. How about Seville, with apologies ?

Presumably you were trying to write “Sevilla” and just mixed up the A and E?!

There can be some odd pricing when all the different options are listed.

Certainly was…our second visit….this time, my wife drove ! For those that are unaware, Barcardi took over the original paper mill that supplied the Bank of England with their bank note requirements, since 1724. Going back over a 1000 years, it is a spectacular venue to visit, with a gin made from your own selected botanicals.
