Seat reservation plane change

My plane tomorrow has been changed from a 787 with the old club seat to a 777 with CS.

The seat my 4yo son was in no longer exists (albeit the webpage still shows all our seats as confirmed). There are currently 4 seats in a row but i am unable to change them online. Whats the best way to resolve this, online check-in opens in 2 hours to i doubt the available seats will be available for long?

Try on Malaysian airlines website otherwise likely you’ve got new seats but you won’t see them until check in opens

The 777s have more biz seats than a 787 so shouldn’t be a big issue getting 4 together I would think

As above. The ability to select seats is usually blocked in the hours before OLCI begins to allow for the sort of adjustments that might assist you.

Thanks all. I eventually called youfirst who confirmed our new seats had automatically been assigned. It’s a shame manage my booking didn’t reflect this until online check-in opened but it’s all fine now.
