SeatSpy giving phantom availability on BA

I’ve been looking to use Avios to book a flight to Nice in early September, however the availability on SeatSpy doesn’t match with what’s actually available on BA. For instance SeatSpy says there are 2 business and 3 economy seats available on 9 September, when in fact there are none. It’s not a temporary glitch either as it’s been saying this for the past few days. Any ideas what’s wrong?
I can’t quite believe anyone has completely missed all the discussions on this recently! But yes, it’s been iffy for a while now, though there are issues at BA’s end and it’s not all SeatSpy’s fault.
Indeed if you look on BA’s reward flight finder tool, it is showing 3 economy and 2 business seats on that day. Obviously if you click through to book it, this availability disappears.
So basically the BA source that Seatspy uses licks bag.

And as the problem is at least partly BA’s end then it’ll never get fixed. Not sure what to do, pointless having Seatspy if you can’t believe the data.
