I attained BA Silver this year and my tier point year end is 08 Sept 22. Because I achieved Silver this tier point year, I understand I will retain Silver for 1 year until 08 Sept 23. BA have reduced the number of tier points required to retain Silver to 300 by 31 December 22. Question is, if I accrue 300 tier points between 09 Sept 22 and 31 December 22, will I secure Silver for 2 years instead of 1? Could be worth a run if it means keeping Silver until 08 Sept 24 for 300TP! TIA

Isn’t the reduced silver threshold 450? The 300 was for a subset with collection year end in July-Sep 2022.
In your case unless you earn 450TP between 9 Sep and 31 Dec 2022 you are going you have to earn 600TP by 8 Sep 2023 to retain Silver until 31 Oct 2024.
The 300TP offer was only valid until 8 Sep 2022 for those who already had Silver in their current TP year ending 8 Sep 2022. It is not available to those like you who gained Silver status. It was purely an offer to retain status
