Silver member luggage benefits on a large group – 9 pax

Hello,

Lets say I book a BA HBO EU flight for 9 people, 1 of them being a BA silver member.

I get that there is no luggage here as the original ticket is HBO.

But if any of the 9 pax paid to add a piece of luggage, would the silver benefits apply to that person too (meaning he or she gets to check in 2 pieces)?

Negative. Paying for a bag is a self contained activity, status benefits apply to the underlying booking and the additional bag is specifically excluded for HBO.
