What on earth is going on at Virgin – they have a banner on their website saying call centre waiting times are over 2 hours. Over last weekend it was almost impossible to login. And I have been waiting 5 days from Amex points to transfer. Amex say the transfer is complete, but nothing has yet appeared in my account.
Surely they can’t still be blaming COVID . . . .

Unless it’s the first time you’ve transferred via this route in which case there’s some sort of manual process at both ends which slows things.

My initial transfer from Amex to VA took about 3 weeks. There after my subsequent transfers happen in within the quoted 30 minutes
