Between you and Cat’s prior report I’m getting tempted (I’m another one whose interest was originally via Phillip Pullman). Persuading Mrs S that this would make a lovely holiday destination is likely to be the stumbling block 😀
Mine wanted to go Paris, I didn’t (we lived there for a few years).
So I encouraged her to take a trip there to take a breather from the kid and childcare.
The next day I booked Svalbard for a solo trip 😉
