@JDB I did read a couple of articles while I was there comparing it
to 1960s Benidorm and say that the problem was not the place but
the type of people going there.There are still wonderful parts, but you have to go further and
further away to find them, which is a restriction in itself.I think if offered a similar summer trip, the family would simply
opt for spending more time in China instead.
