You’re an officer and a gentleman, sir.
Will 2x one-way flights back not be ruinously expensive?
I assume you’ll all wish to travel together with BA so I won’t even suggest looking at Asiana via Seoul. But you may well be better off waiting until the next seat sale and seeing if it would make more sense to cancel the 2x outbound Avios flights and book a cash return flight for two passengers.
This would also keep the powder that is your 241 dry for another occasion.

Thank you for the Seoul suggestion but splitting the princesses up and sending one or both of them on a longer route would undoubtably upset the tranquility of the kingdom! I’ll keep an eye on the BA sale option, but even if I do end up paying for 2 x one way I’ll mentally apportion it across all the flights and then it won’t feel so bad. Man maths works well in this and certain other circumstances…
Lolz. Please note that I did not, for one moment, suggest detouring via Seoul. I would never do that to you!
When doing the man maths, remember that you will be in for 110,000 Avios (probably, maybe 100,000) + £550 + £250 ascribed value for the 241.
Call that ~£900 each. So even paying £2,800 (cheapest offering if you’re lucky on your dates matching) per one-way seat then you’d be in for £3,700 or so. You’d certainly have a chance of beating this in a sale.
