BA.com state that travelling in First on domestic AA routes generates 40 tier points. However, if you book directly on AA will you get 60 tier points even if you add a BA exec club number?

“AA-operated flights flown with two-cabin aircraft within the United States (including Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands) may be branded as First but will earn miles based on business (Club World) (J, D, I, R) booking codes.”
Some 2 cabin routes are over 2,000 miles so classed as long haul generating higher tier points but in the main it will be 40 tier points in the premium cabin on the vast majority of AA’s domestic network. On the small number of 3 cabin routes where both Business and First are available flying in First will generate the same number of TP’s as flying in First on BA.
