Trade show at Asia World Expo in HK – where to stay?

Headline is hopefully explanatory but am at a trade show at AWE for 2 days and in HK for 6.

Any idea where to stay? Is Kowloon West just dull and will feel like an expensive compromise in every way? Am I better saving money and staying as Tsing Yi (just as identikit but cheaper)? Or spending longer travelling on the two event days by staying in TST/Kowloon?

Any input welcome – especially if you’ve found yourself with this dilemma.

Whilst good in theory, the 2 event days are bang in the middle, so it would mean 3 stays in total.
