I have mentioned this before – Just a heads up as the schools break up this and last couple of weeks….Portugal is still in a dire mess – Google for the articles – 1 is here : Faro and Lisbon arrival and note – departures too are still experiencing between 1 hr and 3 hrs wait time to pass the new E Borders – Reports of 6 hours this month do exist too arriving at Faro allegedly – Having been caught last year for 3 years and with Family going to a wedding in August I was alarmed that there are in addition a series of strikes now underway this month and next………Gibraltar in and out if you can I suggest but this has been sussed by many as an escape route so prices have rocketed with BA and Easyjet…Good luck

    Not in my experience.

Landed in Faro about 19:00 three weeks ago and cleared immigration in less than 10 minutes.

Left last Tuesday afternoon at 13:00 and no queues to leave. Queues to enter looked to be about 15 minutes.

Will take longer though for anyone who cannot use the eGates.
