Hi there,
I recently cancelled my Virgin Atlantic card, but am now having a little bit of regret doing this as shortly after the changes to the BA Amex were announced and I’m thinking of ditching the BAPP. Do you know if Virgin will reinstate a closed account or would I have to apply again and hope they accept me?
The latter. New application and consideration of it.
Thanks for that. I’ve been thinking of trying out the Amex Gold instead anyway as it’s free for the first year but I wouldn’t get the SUB. Do you know I were to reapply for the Virgin card how easy it is to speak to someone if I was rejected? I’ve read a few things about Virgin being not very willing to let people re-apply and I’m not sure how easy their appeals process is.
There’s some discussion of this in Rob’s articles on the Virgin cc and the readers’ comments, IIRC.
