Me and my wife who booked a cash ticket on BA website in economy are due to fly LHR-AUH tomorrow
Keep trying to check in and an error message comes up , tried various devices and same issue
Should I be worried
I’m a BA gold member and with silver so hope have not been bumped
Have you tried checking in via a different carrier using the same details, eg Royal Air Maroc?
BA’s IT is a mess again. Can’t retrieve bookings from the website, getting constantly errors so i guess this is affecting your check in process too.
Hi nope nothing manage booking is ok but when try and check in comes up with an error and says to call BA or your travel agent , looked and BA still selling seats for around 900 for our dates in economy class
Have you tried going into MMB without being logged into BA(E)C? Just access your booking via the PNR and your surname. Also suggest you try emailing yourself an e-ticket receipt via Finnair MMB

Feels like clouds are broken. Hilton couldn’t show me a price for a room for over an hour earlier, neither app or web), and now just tried to pay a bill on first direct and it can’t even show my account balance
Are you using the Apple app? I’ve had issues with the link/button on the home page when you start the app in IOS, sometimes not being able to check in, but more often getting an error message trying to generate the boarding pass. If you click on the manage booking link, you get the same options in a slightly older interface, which usually works

I tried all the above yesterday but nothing would work… Apple / none Apple / MMB / log in and out of exec club / partner website etc … was very worried indeed
However this morning I manage to check in as normal on my phone . Seat map has plenty of seats empty so most of been BA dodgy IT
That’s good news for you. Bad news that BA’s IT was useless. Have images of the Little Britain “Computer says no” sketch now.

We have just been gifted gold and silver status so hopefully we will have a good experience at the airport.
This is the first time flying BA with elite membership
Does BA block next to seats if a gold member . We have booked a row of 3 hoping we get it all to ourselves
