This coming winter, Virgin Atlantic will operate an Airbus A350 whole plane charter in a three-class configuration from Heathrow every 14 days for P&O Arvia’s guests joining in Barbados on a Friday.
Does anyone know if Upgrade Vouchers can be used on Charter Flights ?
I’ve read that you can use them to upgrade a Virgin Holidays booking, so I don’t see why it wouldn’t apply to a cruise.
I doubt it – P&O are chartering the whole plane and are responsible for selling all the seats and upgrades. Virgin are just getting a fixed fee to operate the flight.
IF you’ve got Virgin status then need to double check as your usual seating/lounge etc benefits may not apply to a charter
Important to note that this is a charter flight.
So this isn’t a normal VS flight but one specifically arranged to serve a specific company and its needs.
It’ll be P&O that’ll be selling these flights as part of its cruise packages.
Virgin won’t be selling this flight to the public so vouchers and points upgrades won’t be available. Very unlikely you’d even get tier points and miles.
