Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone knew of any smart ways to get round the small print when upgrading from the BA Blue Amex to the BA PP Amex as normally you are not entitled to any kind of sign up bonus given you’ve previously already held a BA Amex?
Would cancelling the Blue and then trying to apply for the PP through a referral for instance potentially work?
Or signing up with a different address/email?
ALternatively, has anyone ever been given a special offer by Amex agents over the phone to take the BA PP card if they were looking to cancel the BA Blue?
Any tips would be welcome – thank you!
Nothing like a nice different address to help put together a good fraudulent credit application!
Given that they seem to dish out retention offers like confetti I guess there’s no harm in asking customer services whether they have anything to offer for an upgrade to a paid card.
