I have the free card. I will cancel it and wait to apply for the paid card.
I received conflicting information from Virgin agents regarding the wait time before applying.
Any recent experience?
Should be 6 months but sometimes flies though straight away after cancelling. Worked the other way for me. Was accepted for the free card with a higher credit limit within 30 minutes of cancelling the paid for card.
Thanks. Did you ring them to apply? Or was it all online?
Applied online and you can cancel your existing card in the app. It was actually the hot summer of 2022 when I did this.
