US $15 F&B Credit

How does the F&B credit work when staying in US Hiltons? I’ve chosen the USD15 daily benefit. Is it just taken away from your daily F&B spend or do you need to actively ask staff in restaurants/bars deduct it? I’d rather it wasn’t included in my overall bill as my company is paying.

It’s taken off the final bill the restaurants and bars don’t even see it. it is ‘use it or lose it’ if you don’t spend 15$ in any day you lose it, it doesn’t amalgamate over your whole stay. If your company is paying, it would make more sense to choose a different benefit.

Thanks for the quick and helpful reply. A shame there’s no way to separate the the benefit from the overall bill. I don’t much care for additional HH points so it’s the only benefit I’d choose.
