I am about to use my 2-4-1 for UC seats, I appreciate how the system works, but I was asked this question by a friend in a similar situation. I don’t now the answer, can you help?
If you have a 2-4-1 and are both silver you pay the miles for the 1st seat and the associated fees/taxes. Your 2nd seat is then just charged the fees/taxes.
What happens if you are silver and your second seat has only red status?
Is it the status of the 2-4-1 holder that determines if the 50% additional miles kicks in or the status of the person that the seat is for?
help appreciated.
It’s all about your status so as long as you (the status holder) are silver, all is good.
Wording below:
You can choose a reward from:
Companion Reward Ticket. Take one person with you in a reward seat:
If you’re a Silver or Gold member when you book the companion reward seat won’t cost any points.
