Hi there, is it possible to use the Avios in my account to make a separate flight booking for another family member?

I am already on the flight on a separate booking but now want to use some of my Avios as my son now wants to join us. Thanks

Yes – unless you have a household account, you can book for anybody

Even if you are in a household account, you can book for another person once added to your friends and family list.

Correct. But there is a limit to the number of people you could add to that list. I think it’s five.

I don’t think you need to add names to F&F account, to book for your son. I’ve recently booked on a separate booking for my adult children, and haven’t got a household account. I booked out of my own account, we all have the same surname, but I’m not even sure if that is necessary.
