Forums Frequent flyer programs Virgin Flying Club Using VS miles on Delta LAX to SYD

  • 154 posts

    Morning all!

Naturally, the Virgin Atlantic site isn’t helpful.

Anyone ideas of what should be a simple availability search for LAX to SYD on delta using Flying Club miles? Is it simply a delta.com.search looking for a certain reward type?

    Thanks in advance!! Dan 🙂

    Morning!

If you want to use VS miles you’d do a reward search for the route on VS website. It will show Delta availability (which will be different to availability shown on Delta’s own site for SkyMiles redemption).

    Hope that helps

Thanks….except all I get is that it doesn’t fly the route and delta does indeed ..

If that’s the case, they either don’t have availability when using Flying Club miles (and you can prove that by looking for SkyMiles availability on delta.com) or there’s an issue on the inventory checker. Give Virgin a buzz.

Plenty of availability LAX-SYD, just depends on the day you want and looks like they only fly certain days. Here’s a random search:

Are you restricted to LAX DL SYD? Or to DL?
Or are you open to any route suggestions?
