“View all Cards with a Referral Offer”

I’ve just noticed that my BA AMEX Premium Plus referral page has a “View all Cards with a Referral Offer” link in the top left which lets you see all the other AMEX cards with their referral bonuses. Which raises a bunch of questions.

if someone uses my BA AMEX Premium Plus referral link then clicks through to the free card which shows the increased sign up bonus due to them having been referred, do they get this higher sign-up bonus? It smells of miss-selling otherwise (though I didn’t complete an application so maybe a different bonus is called out later).

Assuming the do earn the higher sign-up bonus, does the referrer get a referral bonus too even though it’s for a different card. I can see that might happen for the BA AMEX Premium Plus referral link used to sign up for the free card, but surely it cant’ for Membership Rewards points card if you can’t have a rewards balance….

That view other cards option has been there for years

Yes they get the boosted amount advertised, if they are eligible for a welcome bonus, and yes you still get the referral bonus, regardless.
