Thinking of signing up for 30k sign up. I recall someone posting that you can hit the 10k for the voucher then phoning virgin and downgrading to basic getting a second voucher.
Are you sure you’re not thinking of the avios Barclaycard? In any case, you’d still be on the hook for the full fee for the first year.
Yes I stand corrected it’s the BC. How does that work? Bring able to get two vouchers from BC.
There’s plenty about this on the avios Barclaycard threads, plus someone just asked this exact same question today (3 threads down from this one)! But basically your spend resets then after spending £20k you get another voucher (or 7k avios, presumably).
