Virgin Atlantic Rewards Plus card – 30000 points

Hi

I applied for the card on Sunday but got an email saying Pending.
Then on Thursday – after the 30000 bonus points offer had finished – I got an email saying I’d been accepted for the card.
Will I still get the 30000 bonus points offer? If not can I cancel the card?

I don’t know for sure but I would’ve thought it’s the date of application that counts. If it doesn’t work in your favour I think you’d have pretty decent grounds to complain.
And yes, you have a 14 day cooling off period during which you can cancel.
The challenge will be confirming the position in this period – might be worth calling CS as soon as you get the card.

It took me 3 calls and 40 mins listening to hold music but I have an answer to this one. As long as you applied in the offer period -4th Sept to 2 Oct then you are entitled to the full bonus if you actually got the approval email afterwards. Like you and I.. Tried to get my exact date from them but they just told me , eventually that I was eligible. Period

Any data points on how quickly the initial 15,000 points take to post? Been a couple of weeks for me now and haven’t seen them yet.

Nothing for us yet, either, but we haven’t had the first statement yet and I was working on the assumption the bonus points are added to the statement and transferred across with the monthly earned
