    Hi all

Does anyone know of a clever way to extend these beyond the 31st December cut off?

I’ll be in Australia next year so if i could book something and amend it maybe that would be ideal.

    From VA’s website:

“Standard credits – We are currently updating the expiry date for all standard credits issued between 21 April 2020 and 31 July 2022. These credits will be available to book and fly by 30 June 2025. We anticipate expiry dates in all customer accounts will be updated by December 2023.

Future Flight credits – Your Future Flight Credits are available to book and fly by 31 December 2023.”

Was it a COVID flight credit? If it falls into one of the above categories, there’s your answer. If it’s a FFC, then you could book something flexible, but you’ll pay flex rates, and it’s probably more expensive than the cost of binning the credit and just booking a restricted fare when the time comes, but you’d need to look into that in relation to your circumstances/flight plans.

Thanks. It was booked pre administration so its the hard expiry end of this year ‘Future Flight Credit’.

I’ll have a look at the australian forum

And also have a play around with the booking options
