I was pretty sure that it was possible — if my memory serves me right, it was an option whilst we were making the booking…

Are you talking Virgin Australia? I know that”s possible but I’d be surprised if you can credit Virgin but would be happy to be proved wrong.

IIRC, we booked it via Amex travel and it was Virgin Atlantic.

Qatar partner with VAustralia only, not VAtlantic.

All is not lost though as you can apply for retro credit to Virgin or any of the other programs at the link above.

You could, before Qatar Airways joined oneworld, credit QR flights to Virgin Atlantic. Someone may not have updated their system in 7-8 years …
