I’ve also applied for MSC status match (from Hilton Gold), to then match with Virgin Voyages. Applied to MSC on the 29th May, I’ll let you know when I get it in case anyone’s wondering.
Second time going a Virgin cruise. First one was last year doing Irresistible Med, absolutely loved it. Food was fantastic everywhere. Enough to keep you entertained (I spent ages in the arcade room!) and enough space for privacy and event to do some work. Brilliant redemption, shame we won’t be going next year as it’s adults only and we’re expecting!

To add to the confusion, I called to link mine and Sam’s booking yesterday. I have a $50 credit (via Ally) but the agent said ‘we’ve stopped the $50 credit and now offer a bottle of champagne if you have three bookings linked’. But when I checked my account, I now see two $50 credits. Who knows what the right answer is or what will appear on accounts.
I’ll always be optimistic about a good outcome but the bottom line here is that this $50/fizz really is something for nothing so if it doesn’t multiply up, so be it; not that I won’t ask for it!I’ll be on the Greek Island Glow cruise 30th July – 6th August.
