Voucher question, possible to booking first then deduct the voucher later?

Sorry as I did not see this in article.
My (new/next) barclay voucher will be issued in Nov.. I want to make the booking now for my xmas travel. I have enough avios in my account, could I make the booking now, then call BA after two month when I got my new voucher, and asking them to deduct the barclay voucher from my account( and return the discount avios to me of course).
I vaguely recall you can do this with amex voucher, but I am not sure if this is possible with barclary voucher. Anyone know? thanks in advance.
