Hi all,
I’m looking to book a flight on 31st August next year. It’s from Miami.
By my calcs, the flight will be available today. I’m just trying to figure out what time though?
The guide says best time to call is 00:30, but what time zone is that?
Also the UK call centre closes earlier, what’s the best call centre to call?
thanks
So it looks like both UK and US call centres will be closed, so I’ll try Australia?
Flights not available yet on SeatSpy so guessing it will be midnight GMT so 35 mins from now.
Did you manage to book your flight? Possibly too late now but during BST seats are released around 1 am, not midnight.
I was booking MIA-LHR last night too. Had an absolute nightmare getting through on the phone, calls kept dropping and took almost 15 minutes of trying to get through and the call was luckily answered straight away at 12:58 so only 2 minutes to spare.
Absolutely ludicrous that we have to call US to speak to someone that was in Manchester, he was great though and held the 3 seats we needed straightaway even though it was over 2 bookings. All done by 1:15 and I looked to see that all club seats on both flights were gone. This morning only PE is left.
OP – hope you got what you wanted.
So what’s the answer? Who do we call now in BST?
Japan or Hong Kong, but only Monday to Friday
Ah ha, so my Saturday morning call is going to have to be an internet fastest finger jobby?
Has this thread been resurrected following a response to a post nearly 11 months later?

I phoned the US Bronze line at 00:42 on early Saturday morning to add the inbound flights to my Amex and Barclaycard voucher bookings to HKG and agent got all this done for me.
The bonus of the US number is that it’s free via Skype.
0042 on Saturday of course being Friday in the US!

I was just answering @ekposh who presumably was asking about Saturday morning in the UK at 01:00 BST when seats are released at T-355.
Regarding US time though, the US call centre is open daily, so not sure what difference the day of the week would make? You could call the US line at 00:42 BST any day of the week, no?
Japan or Hong Kong, but only Monday to Friday
When it is 01:00 BST (when seats are released), it is 08:00 in Hong Kong and the HK call centre doesn’t open until 09:00, so wouldn’t be an ideal option for securing seats.
