Where should I credit Aer Lingus flights now?

We are a family of 12 and will be travelling in May. Booked Aer Lingus flights in the sale over a mixture of cabins. I have tried to check the Avios and tier points we could expect and it is still not showing that this is possible if a BAE account is used. Is this now working? Has anyone had any success crediting flight to BA and getting Avios and BA tier points?
Or where is the best place to credit these flights if not BA?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

According to this article you should be able to earn Avios but not TP (article was not updated so I am guessing the change mentioned toward the end has not happened yet)

Hi – yes that was what i was seeing as well but had thought they had made changes in November to allow this. Along with being able to use Avios and 2-4-1 vouchers. Maybe just have to wait a bit longer and hope it sorts itself out. Or credit to Aer Lingus and transfer over and loose the tier points. 🙁

I think this is the latest HfP article, which perhaps sounds more optimistic than reality has proven.

Seems best to check the tier points calculator on the BA.com website using AerLingus from the drop-down menu for absolute clarity.
