Why so many outward reward flights available but no returning flights?

Hi,
Silly question time from someone who is new to this website so apologies if this has been covered elsewhere.
When checking reward flight availability on BA, why does it appear that outward Clubworld flights from the UK have good availability but there’s virtually zero availability for the return leg? e.g. do a full year search for LHR-Bermuda in Clubworld and there’s plenty of outbound availability across most months but there are only 3 dates available for the return flight in the next 12 months! Not much help that!

Use the executive club app. I can see business return availability for 2 with over 40 dates return availability between October and the end of the year. I then stopped counting as it was as good as wide open.

Thanks FatherOfFour, you are quite right. I made the mistake of using the seemingly knackered Reward Flight Finder – rookie error!!
