    Dear FearlessTraveller,

We are delighted to announce that Air France – KLM, who have been members of the SkyTeam Alliance, will now become Partners of the Volare program.

Air France and KLM fly to more than 318 destinations around the globe and as part of the Sky Team alliance, Elite Plus members can enjoy SkyPriority services, which include priority check-in and boarding, drop-off, additional baggage and other benefits.

On Air France and KLM flights, you will also have the opportunity to earn Volare points just entering your Volare frequent flyer number when booking or checking in.

For additional information, visit the web page.

    Best regards,
    The Volare Team

Looks like I finally have an incentive to use my Volare membership. What are your thoughts on this?

Just in time for Volare to switch to Star Alliance?

I’d already been using my (status matched) Volare on Air France.

No miles earned but free seat selection, Sky Priority, and lounge access made it worth giving up a few flying blue miles!

I was pleased to receive an email from Volare recently extending my long ago BA matched status for another year to Feb 25, although I have yet to take a Volare flight. I don’t know how it might work with AFKL but it’s been useful for waiving fairly high excess baggage charges with AM and AR even when travelling in their premium domestic classes that are quite restrictive.
