Starwood Preferred Guest, the Sheraton / Westin / W / aloft etc hotel group, has always been very switched on in allowing SPG members to earn points when eating in their hotels if you are not a registered guest.
After all, if you are running luxury hotels with good restaurants, why wouldn’t members of your loyalty scheme want to eat with you?
Starwood has a number of special restaurant deals for SPG Gold and Platinum members. Since SPG Gold is one of the benefits of American Express Platinum, that takes in a lot of people.
London offers are here and they are not a bad bunch. Unfortunately, most come to an end on June 31st but hopefully a new batch will appear.
One O One at the Sheraton Park Tower, next to Harvey Nichols, is regarded as one of the best fish restaurants in Britain. Under this promotion, an SPG Gold or Platinum gets a 10% discount PLUS a free drink, appetiser or dessert. And you will earn SPG points on your bill as well!
The Terrace Grill at the Le Meridien Piccadilly offers an even bigger discount of 20%, plus a free drink, appetiser or dessert. Citrus at The Park Lane Hotel offers 15%.
Similar offers at other properties around the world can also be accessed here.
