Exclusive competition: Win tickets to see Muse or Metallica at Etihad Stadium, Manchester

Today and tomorrow we are running a flash two-day competition which will be of particular interest to HfP readers outside London, who always tell us they feel neglected ….

Four lucky HfP readers will win tickets to see Muse or Metallica at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester this Summer. I’ve seen both bands live and they’re both amazing so whoever wins will be in for a great evening.

This competition is sponsored by Etihad to promote their new daily Boeing 787 flights from Heathrow which are launching on 26th May 2019.

Etihad will be launching the new daily flights from Heathrow to Abu Dhabi from 26th May.  This is in addition to the existing three A380 services.  The new Boeing 787 flights will use the same Business Studio seat which is on the A380 and which Rob reviewed here (and rated very highly).

There will be four daily flights between 26th May and 22nd June, increasing to five daily flights from 23rd June until 28th September. After that it will return to four daily flights until the end of the Summer season on 26th October.

We would expect excellent Etihad Guest reward availability on these new services, especially over the next couple of months, and hopefully some competitive fares too.

Win concert tickets

There are four prizes to be won:

Two readers will each win a pair of two tickets to see Muse

Two readers will each win a pair of two tickets to see Metallica

Muse will be playing at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday 8th June 2019 and Metallica will be playing at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday 18th June 2019. Please check your diary before entering.

The tickets are standard admission tickets.

After completing your name and email address in the widget below you will get the option to pick which band you would like to see if you win.

The prizes do NOT include travel and accommodation.  The full list of rules is in the Gleam entry widget below.

How to enter

We are using the same entry system we’ve been using for other recent competitions.  Simply fill out the Gleam app at the bottom of this post (or click through to the Gleam website) and leave your name and email address. That’s it.

You need to select either Muse or Metallica when you enter.  Do NOT tick both boxes.  Anyone who ticks both boxes – or no boxes – will be disqualified.

Your details remain confidential and will not be passed to Etihad. Head for Points will not use your email address for any other purpose.

The rules

Here is a summary of the rules. The official version can be found by clicking ‘Terms & Conditions’ in the entry widget below.

You must be at least 18 years old

You must be a resident of the United Kingdom and must be accessing this website from inside the UK

Entries are limited to one per person

You can only select one band to see if you win. Entrants who select both bands will be disqualified.

The competition closes at midnight, London time, on Sunday 19th May 2019

The winner will be selected automatically by the software which collates the entries. The winner will be contacted by email and must confirm their details, including their UK residency, within 3 days.

The competition is jointly promoted by Etihad and Head for Points.

If you cannot see the entry widget below, please click here and you will be directed to a special website to enter.

Good luck.
