  Really concerned as my gf (cabin crew) is still having to fly to Spanish and German routes. BA continue to flaunt staff safety by flying NEO’s where social distancing is impossible.

    That’s unacceptable by BA – and to be honest I was stunned to be moved from a cancelled Barcelona flight this weekend to a new one – they are still flying twice a day to a Barcelona Warzone where everything is closed?

    I think you have a fever right now – wheich means she has to self-isolate for 7 days…

  My (elderly) dad was meant to fly from KUL-DXB-LHR on Emirates at the end of April. He just received an email telling him that his KUL-DXB flight is cancelled and to contact them closer to the date of travel. Is there any way for him to get a refund on his entire trip?

  Hi. Wondered if someone could help with my travel query.
  Went up to Inverness with my partner around 2 weeks ago on Easyjet, and were originally going to fly back to London tomorrow. Easyjet told us on Tuesday gone that our Friday flight was cancelled, and offered us a free change. Obviously at this point we wanted to get back to London asap, but the next available flight was on Saturday 28 March. We used the app to change to that flight, but after discussing it, we thought it best to just get back home any way possible, and so paid a fair whack to travel overnight on Wednesday to Euston on the train. Easyjet this morning notified me that now the Saturday 28 March Inverness flight is cancelled, and the next flight is not till Friday 3 April! Easyjet’s call centre’s don’t seem to be available when I have called them, so just wanted to ask, is it best to move my flight again to next Friday, buying me a bit more time to get through, or just leave it at the cancelled Saturday time? I want a refund in cash on my two single flights if poss… I also have travel insurance in case useful (although can’t get through on that either) .Thanks

    Inverness Airport is shutting for scheduled flights on Sunday – so no flights in April!

    Now, since you have already paid for another means of travel, they probably won’t pay up.

    (To be fair, they probably only need to hire a coach to get you to London and thus carry out their duties)

      Sorry, to clarify:

      You’ll get the cash back for the newly cancelled flight. There is no alternative.

      But you won’t get any help from EasyJet for the sleeper. Hope you enjoyed it?

    Arguably they didn’t offer you a reasonable alternative so you probably do have a claim. They are difficult to deal with though. A judge may see either way.
