A Qatar Airways collision in Doha caught on video

We rarely cover general aviation ‘action’ on Head for Points, but I did think it was worth sharing this.  A couple of weeks ago, a Qatar Airways Boeing 787 was pushed into an Airbus A350 during a huge storm in Doha.

If you think the Middle East is always calm and sunny, you are mistaken.  It is very rare, but when the storms hit, they really hit.

It was caught on video – see below – and, given the size of the Boeing 787, is quite spooky to watch.  Given how few aircraft are currently flying, this was a piece of bad luck for Qatar Airways.

The still image below shows how it ended up.  Neither aircraft had any passengers or crew onboard.
