ENDS MONDAY: Save 30% (up to £60) at Amazon by opening a free Amazon Business account

Links on Head for Points may pay us an affiliate commission. A list of partners is here.

Amazon Business has just launched two very interesting new rewards credit cards, in association with American Express.  We have covered them in details over the last two weeks, and our review of the Amazon Business American Express cards is here.

In the meantime, to raise awareness of Amazon Business, Amazon is offering you a hugely generous 30% off your next order.

If you sign up, for FREE, to Amazon Business you can save up to £60 on your next Amazon purchase.  You can buy ANYTHING on the Amazon website which is sold directly by Amazon itself.

Once you have got an Amazon Business account, you also qualify to apply for the Amazon Business Prime American Express Card, which is the most generous of the two new cards.

How do I get my 30% discount?

If you have your own business and sign it up – for FREE – to Amazon Business by Monday 23rd November, you can use code BFB2B20 to get 30% off your next purchase, up to a maximum £60 off.

Full details are on the Amazon Business website here.

The voucher activates 48 hours after your account is verified. You cannot use it immediately. You have until Monday 30th November to use the voucher, so Black Friday deals will be included.

IMPORTANT: When registering, do NOT use your existing Amazon email address. If you do, your current personal Amazon account will be turned into an Amazon Business one. It is better to keep both accounts separate.

If you add your VAT number to your account, you may need to add the GB prefix to get it accepted.

What can I buy with my discount voucher?

Virtually all items on the Amazon UK website which are sold directly by Amazon, not from third party sellers, are included.  You do NOT need to spend the voucher buying business supplies.  Alcohol, clothing, books …. anything you like, as long as it is sold by Amazon and not a third party.  You need to redeem the voucher by 30th November.

To sign up to Amazon Business you need to click here or click the ad above.

Save £60 on your first Amazon Business order

As a reminder ….

As a reminder, Amazon Business combines Amazon’s existing selection, convenience and value with additional business-specific features including:

  • bulk pricing
  • Pay by Invoice (subject to satisfactory credit checks and credit limit)
  • downloadable VAT invoices
  • spend management tools

You can find out more on the registration page here

The deadline for signing up to Amazon Business to activate the ‘30% off’ BFB2B20 code is Monday 23rd November.  You will have until 30th November to use the code, which should be valid 48 hours after your account is verified.

Remember to use a different email address to your normal Amazon account unless you want your existing account turned into an Amazon Business one.

PS. When you come to place your 30% discount order, please consider clicking this link to reach the Amazon website. We receive a small commission on your order which helps keep us ticking over whilst our advertising revenue is sharply down. Thank you.

Could I buy an Amazon GC from Morrisons , put it on this new business account then take advantage of the offer?
That way one could potentially get a 40 pct discount plus Avios x 1.5 via BAPP and Virgin Points x8 thru Shops Away.

  • DT says:

Slightly O/T, Rob, when clicking your Amazon affiliate link on mobile, it opens the Amazon App. Do you still get the kickback on spend? Or does it have to be in a browser to track?

  • Katy says:

Can I check if you know if an order fulfilled by amazon would be eligible? Or does it have to be sold by and fulfilled by amazon?

  • Fred says:

Asssuming the application won’t be verified until next week (after the deadline) will the offer still apply?

    • Rob says:

Small print says you just need to submit the application by Monday night, so it should be fine.

  • Paul says:

I got verified when this was first promoted in October. Unfortunately I have never been able to use the code. Still waiting for a response from the B2B verifications team 🙁

  • Pogonation says:

Does the promo code apply automatically. I signed up and couldn’t see where to put the promo code.. will I have missed out on the offer?

    • Rob says:

You don’t use the promo code when joining Amazon Business, don’t worry.

In 48 hours, once your AB account is verified and active, the code will work and you can place a standard Amazon order. You apply the code here, and it will knock off the 30% as long as you meet all the requirements (sold by Amazon not a partner etc).

  • Ben says:

Got verified and trying to use the code, but keep getting:

“The promotional code you entered cannot be applied to your purchase”

Tried a few items, all sold by Amazon EU S.a.r.L. . Any ideas?

    • Rob says:

Delivery dates must match too. Best thing to do is put one item in your basket and pop in the code to see if it works and then add others to see what breaks it.

  • Ben says:

    Thanks Rob

Sorry, I must read more carefully: “The voucher activates 48 hours after your account is verified. You cannot use it immediately.”
