Get a good value Accor Live Limitless ‘experience’ including a Sofitel St James hotel stay

Accor Live Limitless, the loyalty programme for Novotel, Sofitel, Ibis, Mercure, Fairmont etc, is ramping up its ‘Limitless Experiences’ programme in the UK.

This is good news, as the ‘Limitless Experiences’ programme is one way of getting better value for your points than the fixed 2 Eurocents you get when booking a hotel. I know that a lot of readers took advantage of the ‘Taste of London’ dining experiences which we covered here.

Accor is running an interesting event in London on Saturday 21st August which is excellent value if you have 15,000 Accor Live Limitless points. The price was just reduced from 25,000 points.

It is based around the Charlotte Perriand exhibition at the Design Museum on Kensington High Street. Perriand was a pioneering interior designer, active mainly in the 1930’s, 40’s and 50’s, and this exhibition is aimed at re-establishing her position alongside her peers such as Le Corbusier.

There are six packages available. Each offers, for two people:

• a guided small group tour of Modern Life, A Charlotte Perriand Exhibition at the Design Museum London
• a three-course set-menu in Sofitel St James with a carafe of wine
• an overnight stay in a luxury room in the Sofitel St James on 21st August
• a Charlotte Perriand surprise amenity 
• breakfast on 22nd August

15,000 Accor Live Limitless would usually get you €300 (£255) of hotel rooms when redeemed.

For comparison, a luxury room at the (newly refurbished) Sofitel St James – website here – is £438 with breakfast on 21st August. You are looking at another £100 of value for the meal, plus of course you get the private tour of the exhibition. You are getting more than double the standard value of your points.
