Get Chelsea Flower Show tickets and a hotel with impressive Accor Live Limitless redemption

As we have mentioned a couple of times recently, Accor – owner of the Ibis, Novotel, Pullman, Fairmont, Mercure, Sofitel etc etc brands – is making a big push to enhance its ‘experiences’ redemptions in the UK.
This will offer a real alternative for people who don’t get excited about redeeming their Accor points for hotel stays at a fixed value of 2 Eurocents, or transferring them to airline miles at fairly weak rates.
Accor is partnering with the (re-arranged) Chelsea Flower Show this year. If you’ve always wanted to go but struggled to get tickets, this is a great opportunity.

This is what is on offer:
For 18,000 Accor points:
An evening package on 24th September consisting of:
- Entry to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for two people
- Le Jardin Blanc complimentary bar with Champagne and botanical cocktails
- Entertainment from Jardin Blanc’s resident band throughout the evening
- Official show guide (one per two guests)
- Overnight stay including breakfast in a Superior Double room at The Draycott Hotel by Mantis
For 20,000 Accor points:
An evening package on 24th September consisting of:
- Entry to the RHS Chelsea Flower Show for two people
- Le Jardin Blanc complimentary bar with Champagne and botanical cocktails
- Entertainment from Jardin Blanc’s resident band throughout the evening
- Official show guide (one per two guests)
- Overnight stay including breakfast in a Deluxe Double room at The Draycott Hotel by Mantis
The show is held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, home of the Chelsea Pensioners. It is about a 7-8 minute walk from Sloane Square underground station.
I cannot stress too highly how different the Chelsea Flower Show is if you attend in the evening after the general public has left. During the day, the show makes Wembley Stadium on FA Cup Final day look quiet – although I would imagine there are some limits this year. The evening atmosphere is completely different as it is only invited guests of show partners.
There are five of each package available.
There is no easy way of earning Accor points apart from ‘heads in beds’ so if you don’t have 18,000 points in your Accor account today you can’t access this. If you would be interested in future offers like this, you may want to move a few upcoming hotel stays to Accor to build up a buffer of points.
You CAN transfer points from many frequent flyer schemes and Club Eurostar into Accor Live Limitless, but Avios and Virgin Flying Club are not included – click for details. I doubt the points would arrive before these packages sell out.
