Buy Premier League hospitality packages from £70

This is slightly off topic for us, except that I know many HfP readers like to redeem their miles and points for VIP Premier League hospitality.

The two obvious routes for this are (click for our articles):

• the Emirates VIP box at Arsenal, available on Emirates Skywards miles (and so via American Express Membership Rewards transfers), and
• the Manchester United VIP box at Old Trafford, available on Marriott Bonvoy points

Marriott has just opened bidding for its first two Manchester United games this season. Arsenal VIP seats are also available but the pricing has shot up to a crazy 117,000 Skywards miles per seat which I don’t recommend.

Unsurprisingly, the corporate hospitality market has fallen off a cliff. This means that, as we saw at Wimbledon, there are grounds with plenty of VIP seats available and no customers.

Travelzoo has launched a new part of its website where Premier League clubs can dump their unsold hospitality packages. These are exceptionally cheap. We first covered these back in July and they were hugely popular with readers. Games for October have just been added.

Prices start from £70 and go up from there. What you get varies by what you pay (clearly £70 isn’t getting you a three course meal – usually just access to a lounge, potentially with free drinks) but it’s difficult to argue that these tickets don’t offer great value. You can’t even buy Premier League tickets on the open market for most games unless you are a club member and can get a season ticket return.
