Ibis opens two new hotels near London Heathrow Terminal 5

The old Travelodge Heathrow Terminal 5 has reopened under the Ibis brand. Interestingly, it has been split into two.
The building now consists of a 56-room Ibis hotel and a 241-room Ibis Budget hotel.
No additional rooms have been built, so the only difference between them is the level of refurbishment that has been done.
Both hotels share the same bar and restaurant on the ground floor, and presumably the same reception area. The rooms are bigger – and substantially more attractive – on the Ibis side.
The hotel is located by Junction 14 of the M25 and is served by the Hotel Hoppa bus service. You can see full details of the Ibis hotel here and the Ibis Budget hotel here.
The room photo below is from the Ibis Budget side – whether it is worth saving £15-£20 per night to get this rather than the bigger and classier Ibis room (you can see it here) is down to you.
Remember that Ibis Budget stays do NOT qualify for points or elite night credit in Accor Live Limitless.
